Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

This privacy policy explains how The Business of Emotions Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data through caracunniff.com and caracunniff.com (the “site”). We are the data controller for the personal data we hold about you and we comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email address, organisation and message — when you contact us, enquire about a talk or workshop, or subscribe to updates. We also collect limited technical information (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) automatically through cookies and analytics.

How we use it

  • To respond to enquiries and arrange speaking, workshops or consulting work.
  • To send updates you have asked to receive (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Lawful basis

We rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, on legitimate interests for responding to enquiries and basic analytics, and on contract and legal obligation where applicable.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers that help us run the site and our business (for example email, hosting and analytics providers), and where required by law.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and to meet legal obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to processing or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email cara@businessofemotions.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
